Japanese brasserie

Located in New York City's Flatiron District, ROKI serves modern Japanese cuisine.

ROKI, a Japanese Brasserie, is a collaboration between Executive Chef Koji Hagiwara and Keiko Ono Aoki. ROKI is a place where people can gather to enjoy a wide-ranging menu of small plated dishes, sake options and ramen. We are located in the heart of Manhattan, in the Flatiron District.

The name ROKI comes from Rocky Aoki, the founder of Benihana of Tokyo who is Keiko Ono Aoki’s late husband. Ten years ago, he predicted that the next “sushi” would be ramen and it was one of his favorite things to eat. In his memory Keiko decided to start a restaurant that served ramen as the main dish.

Our ramen noodles are made exclusively for our restaurant. Our ramen broth comes in five different flavors and served in a hot pot style. With Chef Koji’s unique culinary skills, you will definitely want to come back for more.
